Melissa Valentine is an Associate Professor of Management Science at Stanford University, where she co-directs the Center for Work, Technology, and Organization. Her research examines how new technologies change work and organizations. Prof. Valentine has received several best paper awards for research and has been recognized with an NSF CAREER award. She holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University, a master's degree from NYU, and a Ph.D. from Harvard University.
